Senior Manager, MediaSenior Manager, Media StrategyThe Senior Manager, Media Strategy will report to the VP, Media Strategy in the Marketing Department. The media team manages Paneras paid media efforts in conjunction with planning/buying agencies. The Senior Media Manager position specializes in a holistic and strategic view of media planning, optimization and analytics.Successful candidates must possess the ability to forge close working relationships with internal marketing teammates and agency partners. Planning skills, written and verbal communication, relationship-building, accuracy, problem-solving, attention to detail and ability to handle complexity are all key position requirements critical for success in this role.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop best-in-class national & local media strategies with multi-million dollar budgets Evaluate the role of all mediums - video, audio, digital, social, radio, OOH, SEM, content partnerships and other media vehicles to drive incremental sales, brand love & brand health Work in conjunction with Marketing & PR teams to ensure holistic marketing & communication plans are brought to life through paid media investments Help manage the national media agency of record to execute all plans Create measurement frameworks that help measure the impact of media efforts Lead regular optimization efforts to ensure all investments continue to perform as effectively as possible Manage the media budget and regularly reconcile with accounting and finance teams Stay connected with, evaluate and bring forward the latest trends in media & contentESSENTIAL SKILLS: Strong experience with best-practice media planning across a variety of media channels Demonstrated experience with planning video (linear & digital), audio (terrestrial & digital) paid social, programmatic digital, paid search, radio, and OOH media Experience leveraging CRM or 1st party data within paid media environments Analysis of media measurement, media attribution and/or media mix modeling Excellent communication to senior leadership, cross-functional departments, franchisee partners, etc. Communications Skills: Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications Writes in a clear, compelling and concise manner Organizes ideas and information logically and sequentially Assists in the development of media presentations and tactical POVs, as needed Develop reports that are clear, compelling and persuasive Thorough understanding of the media process, media department and inter-department relationship Demonstrated ability to generate and present well-considered ideas and solutions to senior leadership Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment; can adapt plans due to changes in objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives Balanced ability to perform analytically and creatively Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional project management skills Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration or communications 7-10 years of media experience within a marketing department or agency-side media Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Occasional travel Position can be filled in either Needham, MA or St. Louis, MOSaint Louis Support Center
