Job Summary

The Employer Brand Specialist should be equal parts storyteller, project manager, and communicator. The ideal person for this job is dual-minded: highly creative but also a nimble producer who can create, develop, and deliver digital content for the Comcast's Career website, blog, social media, and email campaigns all within a highly collaborative, newsroom-like atmosphere. While their focus will be on content creation, the role broadly supports the Talent Brand team holistically and therefore all the ways we engage external candidates and internal talent along their journey.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Serves as the subject matter expert and steward of Comcast's Talent brand, including voice, messaging, and related elements.

Writes and/or reviews copy intended for all Talent marketing channels, including social media, email (CRM), programmatic marketing campaigns, job descriptions, PR/award submissions, and internal Talent comms.

Responsible for evolving and maintaining the Comcast Careers website, including content, navigation, front-end development, and user analytics.

Leads blog editorial strategy and content production, delivering a regular cadence of stories and overseeing workflow for third party contributors and agency partners.

Co-leads weekly editorial meetings, providing regular status updates and offering fresh ideas for future stories or campaigns.

Organizes and maintains asset library including marketing plans, assets, collateral, and promotional materials.

Follows through to ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables meet specifications.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

2-5 years relevant creative and/or digital storytelling and production experience with a demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into compelling stories.

Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

Strong experience in consumer and/or employee messaging.

First-hand experience with asset creation for the web, blogs, social media, and email campaigns. Photography and/or or visual design experience preferred.

Familiarity with Content Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management software, and Google Analytics a plus!

Ability to work effectively in both a quick-turn newsroom-like atmosphere as well as part of longer range produced projects.

Detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to handle a high-volume workload.

Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects and collaborate with a geographically dispersed team of employees and external vendor partners.
