completing criminal records for clients, consistent with all HireRight

guidelines.   Other duties may also be




Specific Duties:

Contact courts and other government agencies as assigned to complete criminal


Process background reports according to criminal reporting guidelines and


Maintain in-depth working knowledge of all criminal guidelines

Complete escalated requests for Public Research requiring further investigation

Ensure accurate and prompt turnaround on all reports

Enter court records information and input thorough and accurate notes

Provide timely follow-up and follow through on all requests, reports, and


Track and report issues with our business partners

Consistenly acquire new or updated knowledge of jurisdictional processes in

order to become proficient in assigned states                                                                                             

Subject Matter Expert for all states (level A, and B states)','!*!Education:

Bacheolors  Degree in Criminal Justice or

related field or applicable working experience in a related field (previous

criminal records research, legal or court system); Criminology Certificate





Ability to work in a fast paced, but very structured and fact-driven


Knowledge of word processing software (MS Word/Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented

Knowledge within the background screening industry (familiarity with reading

court cases, terminology, court record filing, etc.)

Problem solving and troubleshooting

Must have ability and curiosity to identify root cause and resolve complex

issues within the HireRight environment         


• Ability

to work under constant deadlines and work in a team environment.

• Must

have passed all quizzes issued as a part of Search Standardization



Less than two years experience with criminal record research experience


Experience in the Criminal Justice system or related field preferredIn exchange for your
