The lead position is required to support the execution of material requirements,, daily operations of material planning to ensure products are purchased and procured on time to meet customer demands ,contract commitmnets, and meet our business goals and profit margins.
Day to Day operations for material planning, SAP clean up, material availability, on-time deliveries, ensure material availability for AOP, handle administrative duties (employee issues), charts and graphs (metrics). Work special projects for bid purposes and provisioning. Execute contract commitments.
The candidate will be a working team lead and will help manage a team, from planning, through put to completion/shipment of ITAR and Non-ITAR goods of customer demands or contract requirements. The team lead will be responsible for the day to day administrative duties and strive to not only meet but exceed the desired level of support of our customers (internal or external).
The successful candidate will monitor and be held accountable for generation of recovery plans and preparation of status reports, including the release of purchase requisitions and the tracking, expediting and delivery date maintenance of placed purchase orders, through direct contact with buyers/suppliers. Prepare charts and presentations.
In addition, employee will analyze aggregate and prioritize supply/ demand requirements and forecast inventory levels using MRP tools, placing sales order, creating deliveries, and ensures the health of MRP (SAP). Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustment and other attrition streams. Candidate will work special projects for new bid efforts and interface with sourcing areas regarding inventory levels, PRW and CCB processes. Receives / reviews requirements for non-standard parts and takes appropriate action.
The individual will be responsible for accomplishing contract objectives by managing inventory systems, simulation, modeling forecasting data, contract award demands, managing multiple conflicting priorities. The qualified candidate will lead the development of solutions to technical inventory and materials management processes by determining new or revised requirements, developing solutions to a variety of issues of moderate scope and complexity, as well as ensure all policy and procedures are current and all EXPORT compliances are adhered to . Employee will be required to ensure an effective working relationship with internal and external customers and suppliers.
4-6 years experience in Material Requirements Planning SAP software system knowledge), Supply Chain, Customer Service or Sales
Motivated self-starter with the ability to act with a sense of urgency to support
customer requirements and expectations
Strong inter-personal, time management, organizational skills, and multitasking
Ability to work effectively with representatives from other functions and represent the
organization with pride and integrity.
