The Sr. Director of Marketing for Brand Creative, Digital Marketing and Public Relations and Communications drives the global brand creative strategy as well as defining the creative, media and partnership strategy to deliver demand and revenue growth.
 
They will lead the brand\u2019s digital marketing strategy, managing a team in order to drive engagement, growth and revenue goals across digital channels globally and leads the translation of marketing objectives into creative strategies.  Through a team, this role leads the creative idea generation and execution across all channels and branded initiatives.  They will drive the brand\u2019s global Public Relations (PR) strategies in partnership with our agencies, ensuring that PR and events are a key component in our omni-channel strategy that will drive engagement, growth and revenue goals across digital channels globally. 
 
This role will deliver Saucony\u2019s global campaigns and narratives that drive brand awareness, equity and consumer engagement for both Performance and Originals with an obsession for digital and mobile first content storytelling focused always on key consumer needs.
 
Primary Duties

Leads and owns the development of the brand\u2019s digital marketing strategy to enhance our online presence, connect relevant brand and product stories, integrate content/strategies across brand/eCommerce/partner channels, build a community, and drive commercial opportunities.
Directs the digital marketing calendar tied to brand and product launch activities, integrating with eCommerce and brand marketing to ensure key marketing stories are being considered and consistent.
Leads the development and ensures flawless execution of digital campaigns including on-line advertising, social media, retail partnerships, mobile and emerging channels.
Sets content strategy across digital channels, including blog, site and social platforms. Sources and develops content.
Partners and influences International teams on content creation, calendar integration, asset sharing.
Develops the strategy for website and blog enhancements that are in line with the brand message in collaboration with brand, ecommerce, IT, internal and external design teams.
Develops and owns the social media strategy and voice, ensuring collaboration with other marketing functions.
Directs the media strategy and media agency relationship to optimize paid media programs. Leads relationships with endemic media partners.
Responsible to develop and oversee digital marketing budget.
Drives creative concept, design and voice to achieve brand creative objectives against seasonal campaign strategy.
Collaborates with marketing leadership, business leads and other internal stakeholders to conceptualize and deliver compelling collateral and campaigns.
Directs internal and external creative service providers to conceptualize and create global product campaigns.
Sets creative tone that upholds brand standards and maintain global brand consistency.
Source best-in-class talent and agency partners and develop creative organization across internal and external resources.
Lead, manage and participate in creative agency partnerships to drive optimum output and highly productive relationships ensuring a level of excellence and value for the brand.
Work closely with brand marketing leadership to ensure that the global public relation agencies and local event companies have clear strategic priorities and direction, measurable KPIs, continuous feedback on performance and access to key data.
Develop, manage and execute the seasonal and monthly PR strategy and story focus with PR team, clearly communicating importance level of each story. Manage PR event activations with internal teams across account and consumer.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with product, merchandising, eCommerce, sales etc. to ensure that impactful programs are delivered.
Create forward-thinking vision and develop future strategy to execute against overall marketing team and brand strategy.
Drives and ensures the creation of best-in-class PR and events assets that will help us drive the optimal mix of paid-owned-earned media.
Monitor for risk and be prepared with risk strategies when bad PR arises.
Share key monthly wins and metrics with brand team.
Drives successful implementation of influencer strategy with marketing leadership and PR agency.
Performs duties consistent with the Company\u2019s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Bachelor's degree required/MBA preferred or equivalent work experience.
10 years of online marketing experience with branded product lines. eCommerce experience preferred
Proven track record for developing and executing successful online marketing programs.
Proven leadership skills with at least 3 years\u2019 experience at the director level.
Strategic thinker who brings opinions, solutions and ideas to the table.
Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships in order to develop impactful sales and brand equity driving programs.
Solid written communication and presentation skills.
Commanding public speaking presence.
Thrives in a fast-changing, fast paced environment with tight deadlines and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal office environment.  Travel required.
