In your capacity as a stewardship manager for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, you will be responsible for ensuring that the hospital’s most generous donors receive comprehensive and accurate reporting on their gifts and remain engaged with UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The Associate Director will play an integral role in developing, managing, and implementing stewardship strategies for high-profile donor stewardship.

Works in collaboration with the Director of Donor Relations and the Principal Giving team to develop and implement stewardship strategies designed to maintain and cultivate long-term, quality relationships with donors
Manage and track stewardship strategy pipeline development and various communication materials needed for outreach
Identify and create new engagement opportunities for principal gift donors to connect with Hospital and Foundation leadership, staff, patients, and grateful families (i.e. personalized events, donor recognition society, tailored reports, and customized gifts)
Assists the Director in developing, managing, staffing and implementing donor relations initiatives in support of various hospital divisions, programs, and the Foundation's overall fiscal year goals.
Assists with all other stages of department specific fundraising initiative planning and execution as needed.
Coordinates and manages all assigned activities and fundraising initiatives and attends fundraising events as appropriate/required.
Maintains relationships with current fundraising organizations and/or individuals while looking for and developing opportunities to build new partnerships
Works with the Director, Foundation colleagues, and Hospital personnel to understand the funding needs of various divisions and programs, and works with various Foundation teams toward realizing those goals.
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related area
3 years of related experience required.
Experience in non-profit organizations preferred.

Act 31 Clearance
Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal
Act 34 Criminal Clearance with Renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance
