The HR Technology Content Developer
The HR Technology Content Developer manages the intake, content strategy and maintenance of our existing HR intranet and leader portal. Serves as a conduit for the HR community to share relevant and current content to help employees and leaders reach their full potential. Partners with key subject matter experts to review existing content and collect new and relevant materials that align with enterprise-wide messages and initiatives. The Content Developer will also consult with various groups within HR and other corporate partners to build and develop new areas of content on the intranet. Manages the relationship with our third party hosting vendor to ensure requests are received, processed and delivered where necessary. Participates in any content migration that may be required as a result of changes in platforms.
Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements and production issues.
Perform web page updates
Work with the vendor to address, resolve, and communicate any issues related to the features and functionality of the community.
Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment and support.
Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
Translate functions, features and requirements into strong user experiences.
Collaborate well with colleagues to create and present wireframes and prototypes for input, and ensure proper review and testing to achieve the experience goals.
Seek opportunities to build relationships with key customers and business partners.
Understand customer’s needs, effectively manage expectations, uses sound judgment with sensitive topics, escalate concerns when necessary.
Operates as a liaison between the organization and third party provider of hosted intranet site.
Minimum of 1-3 years of content development experience for an intranet/internet site.

Experience working in highly diverse teams within clinical research; cross-functional, global, multi-regional
Basic project management skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
B.S. degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, HR or related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of current intranet/portal technologies
Demonstrated ability to work with a team of resources, on-site and remote
Ability to gather requirements from business partners and develop proposed content
Ability to communicate effectively with an executive audience, and clearly communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
Knowledge and experience with ERP or HRMS implementations or production support environments
Experience with Sharepoint
Experience with web content authoring skills including HTML 5, CSS, scripting tools
Ability to collaborate effectively with others to identify and resolve issues
