Role Purpose: Extend and expand the IHOP brand through the social media network.
Identify, create and implement social media strategy to identify media opportunities through the various social media channels that will effectively promote the Applebee’s brand be they “Paid”, “Owned” or “Earned”.
Create and maintain the CRM/Loyalty program including the creation and maintenance of a transactional database.
Manage the company’s marketing efforts in the area of loyalty programs based on the Day Part strategic company objectives.
Work closely with Information Management to ensure that all programs fit within the appropriate architecture and can be implemented with the desired traffic driving and loyalty driving goals to the different Day Part segments.
One to One Marketing
Lead our one to one marketing communications efforts.
Work with our agency partners on database collection, management and email deployment.
Manage the National email Day Part marketing calendar that will set by the National brand team.
Responsible for managing the portal and ensuring appropriate communication items are posted as intended.
Collaborate closely with Information Management to define and manage content management architecture and processes.
The Marketing Portal will reflect a collaboration of company supported programs (Ad builder, creative approvals process, file sharing needs etc).
Manage the digital marketing Day Part strategy in conjunction with DPM leadership.
Manages the respective agency partners as it relates to the day-to-day and long-range execution of these plans.
This position will also assist the Field Marketing team in building local company social and digital marketing plans to support Day Part strategies.
• Find key stakeholders in the social communities and figure out ways to grow the distribution of content, with the goal of growing volume of links to company's content to drive up target audiences.
• Be an Ambassador for brands in appropriate social media channels and introduce targeted Day Part campaigns.
Generate ever-higher volume of daily posts across Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and blogs
Key responsibilities will also include:
• Help the company find success with unique and timely Day Part promotional campaigns featuring incentives to join the social communities such as exclusive content, contests, insider access or other opportunities.
• Watch relevant industry benchmarks and assess the company's relative performance on an ongoing basis
• Identify gaps and areas of opportunity for improvement.
• Watch and check social media trends, tools, technologies, and recommend direction for investment and implementation
