Our client is a nationally recognized credit asset manager with over $10 billion in capital under management for institutional investors and family offices. Their more than 250 dedicated employees operate from lending offices in Chicago, New York and San Francisco and focus on several business lines including Middle Market Lending, Late Stage Lending,
Broadly Syndicated Loans, and Opportunistic Credit.
They are seeking to hire an Associate in their Investor Relations group. The Investor Relations group serves as a key point of contact to the firm’s investor base and supports the firm’s Business Development team. This role requires a motivated individual with a proactive approach to working with other team members and departments, ability to manage tight reporting deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
The Investor Relations Associate’s responsibilities will include:
Manage critical Investor Relations projects, reporting automation projects, investor portal creation, etc.
Update and manage investor information in CRM databases
Assist with investor communications (including letters, mailers, emails, and presentation materials), internal reporting and data entry
Correspond daily with back office teams on day to day and ad hoc activity
Process new investor subscriptions, including the collection and analysis of legal documentation
Interact with clients during the on-boarding phase for the purpose of processing subscription documents
Bachelor’s degree required
1 – 3 years of related experience in investor relations or in public accounting
Demonstrated project management skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables, learn quickly and independently, and improve processes
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Word and Excel
Technical skills and financial background a strong plus
