Job Description

This position reports to the Vice President of Community Relations for the San Francisco Bay Area and is responsible for program design, management and administration for Wells Fargo philanthropy and related community engagement initiatives for East Bay Inland and Greater San Jose.

This position is located at 333 Market St. San Francisco, CA for the first 6 months with a transfer to Oakland after the mentioned time frame. No relocation assistance available.

Specific responsibilities include: Identify policies and procedures for planning and implementing high-impact philanthropic, volunteer and community development programs for bay area Execute an enterprise-wide community investment strategy to promote and enhance the well-being of the communities we serve Prepare grant recommendations for the committees throughout the region on a monthly basis and monthly reports detailing what was made and pending Develops and maintains relationships with key community partners and nonprofit organizations as well as internal regional leaders and partners in Community Development, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Government Relations, Team Member Networks, Environmental Affairs and the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation Assists with community service activities and will be a visible representative of Wells Fargo in the community, and will support ongoing monitoring and evaluation of community outreach partnerships and the impact of Wells Fargo community investments. Contributes to the company's OCC Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) exam rating by ensuring that the investment of Wells Fargo assets support the growth of Low to Moderate Income (LMI) communities Assesses community needs and provides management with program improvement recommendations

Corporate Responsibility and Community Relations operates as the link between the company and the communities we serve, focusing on stakeholder engagement and corporate social responsibility strategies and programs. The group includes teams that manage the company’s, corporate philanthropy, environmental affairs, community relations, diversity and inclusion, and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) risk management.

Required Qualifications

7 years of community relations experience

1 year of leadership or project management Other Desired Qualifications

Previous work experience with non-profit events or sponsorship management, employee volunteer engagement, philanthropy and non-profit relationship management preferably within Wells Fargo or other relevant organization.

Demonstrated experience leading the planning and distribution of philanthropic funding to non-profit organizations in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for a corporate organization.

Experience representing an organization in the community, promoting a positive image and communicating the impact of community affairs work in low-to-moderate income communities.

Experience creating strategic plans for charitable giving/community development/non-profit/philanthropic goals and objectives.

Direct experience managing a large financial budget.

Experience developing and evaluating impact metrics, and program reports and conducting data analysis

Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
