The role of Senior Manager, Internal Communications is to drive the overall employee communications program in collaboration with business unit and shared services leaders and colleagues in the US, Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America. This individual is a key partner to the Fujitsu Americas’ Leadership Team and responsible for creating and executing integrated internal communications initiatives aligned to the company’s strategic ambitions with the ultimate goal of engaging employees in realizing the Fujitsu vision, being ambassadors of the Fujitsu brand and corporate values and enjoying a rewarding professional career at Fujitsu. Specific responsibilities include: Key responsibilities Identify and develop employee communications strategies and priorities and execute innovative programs that support ongoing business transformation and contribute to improving the employee experience Create communications programs and experiences that enable employees to tangibly contribute to the business and ensure they have opportunities to be heard across key issues Effectively partner with key stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, PR, HR and IT teams Work one-on-one with the Fujitsu Americas Leadership Team including CEO and COO of the region and provide counsel and guidance to same Develop content and materials for internal speaking opportunities and events including all hands meetings, town hall meetings, local and global internal Fujitsu events, etc. Manage internal communications tools and content for intranet, email platforms, internal social media including redesign, new deployment, etc. Transform and update existing intranet platform and ensure it is intuitive, user-friendly and mobile enabled ','!*!Key Skills/Knowledge Areas Exceptional written and oral communication skills with proven experience developing and executing company-wide employee communication strategies, programs and deliverables Strong communication and listening skills; ability to influence attitudes and behaviors Strong storytelling skills with ability to take complex topics to create compelling yet simple stories that drive understanding and retention Proven ability to think strategically, be creative and to get things done Experience managing tools and tools implementation projects (e.g., intranet deployment/redesign, mobile applications, internal social media, survey tools, etc.) Business experience and sufficient subject matter knowledge to write confidently for senior leaders and provide relevant and meaningful coaching Highly organized and adept at planning and project management A strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-oriented approach Ability to work in a virtual environment, across boundaries, and in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual setting Good presentation skills including proficiency with PowerPoint.
