Under the direction of the Director of Events Management in Marketing and Communications, the Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing events that support the presidentu00e2u0080u0099s office; academics ceremonial events such as Commencement, alumni and donor events. The Event Coordinator works closely with internal units for the development and implementation of school/college, key units and other significant events that brand the university. Qualifications\:Bacheloru00e2u0080u0099s degree in marketing, communications or event management is required.Three to five (3 - 5) years of experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities\: Strong track record of success managing contracts and relationships with external vendors.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong business acumen, interpersonal skillsAbility to lead and integrate events with the overall university marketing plan. Ability to work with internal resources to troubleshoot logistics.
