The Communication Manager will communicate Dollywood company messaging and promote and celebrate the culture with our hosts. He/She will create, implement and oversee content, messaging and communication of the Dollywood Company's culture and brand to target potential job applicants, and communicate effectively with current hosts. These responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with the mission, values, operating philosophies and standards of the Dollywood Company.
Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities
Interact with and build relationships with hosts at all Dollywood Company properties to understand the needs of our frontline hosts, leaders and management team members.
Collect and prioritize information from hosts through methods such as daily interaction, focus groups, surveys, team meetings and special
Create, implement and oversee all employment advertising and recruiting materials including, but not limited to radio, newspaper, digital, and social media.
Oversee and maintain the Dollywood Company's employment website, and its related functions.
Design and implement Dollywood Company Host materials including, but not limited to company newsletters, Host Handbooks, training materials, process paperwork, and recognition program collateral.
Develop and manage host appreciation and incentive programs at all Dollywood Company properties.
Recommend content agenda for park-wide communication and oversee the development and production of content for events and initiatives such as Town Meetings, leadership training, recognition ceremonies, host website, employment website, and host training.
Actively manage employment related social media outlets with regular postings to encourage high levels of engagement.
In conjunction with the Marketing Team, oversee and manage the development, writing, editing, layout and distribution of Dollywood Company newsletters and supplements, ensuring compliance with Dollywood Company brand guidelines.
Represent the Dollywood Company HR team as needed at functions including, but not limited to news stories, training classes, Town Meetings, and recognition ceremonies.
Prepare and adhere to annual budgets.
Routinely serve as Person in Charge of HR operations.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Assist with all HR events as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a HR or marketing related field with a proven track record in a company of at least 200 employees.
College degree required. Degree in human resources, organizational development, marketing, or business preferred.
Experience and proven track record of multi-media production including print and digital required. Experience with video preferred.
Must have a strong working knowledge of common office and production software such as but not limited to Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, etc. preferred.
Theme park experience or experience in a business with a large seasonal staff preferred.
Strong reading, writing and public speaking skills required. (Presentation audition required for top candidates.)
Demonstration of composition skills required. (Top candidates will be required to produce a composition and writing sample.)
Must have a strong working knowledge of common office software for word processing, spreadsheets and interoffice communication.
Demonstrated knowledge of corporate and company policies and procedures preferred.
Must have good oral presentation skills.
Must have excellent graphic skills.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
Must have or have the ability to obtain a TN driver's license and state required auto insurance.
