Diversity, Inclusion & Outreach Manager
Cracker Barrel is seeking a Manager, Diversity & Outreach to join our team at the Home Office in Lebanon, TN. The Manager, Diversity & Outreach will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating diversity programs and initiatives that promote diversity and a culture of inclusion. This individual will partner closely with Talent Acquisition to help strengthen the companyâ€™s ability to source and attract diverse talent. The Manager, Diversity & Outreach will also be a key player in extending our brand awareness and boosting guest perceptions of our brand, especially in diverse markets. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for diversity and outreach and a background in project management and training.
Create and manage programs, projects, and lead initiatives for Diversity & Outreach to completion that promote and support the Cracker Barrel organizationâ€™s diversity and outreach strategy
Evaluates the effectiveness of current programs and makes recommendations for improvements
Develops diversity training programs and partners with the Training & Talent Leadership Development teams to deliver training and content for diversity and inclusion that will drive improvements in creating an inclusive work environment, diverse hiring, etc.
Partners with Talent Acquisition team to create a diverse recruiting strategy
Manage and attend local, regional, and national recruiting events and conferences that relate to diversity & inclusion
Provide oversight and support to the companyâ€™s Employee Resource Groups and Diversity Council
Develop and implement plan for extending Cracker Barrel employee resource groups from corporate office out to the Cracker Barrel field
Bachelorâ€™s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or relevant field
5 â€“ 6 yearsâ€™ of experience working in Diversity and Outreach initiatives
Experience in training and facilitating, diversity training and facilitation preferred
Experience in managing projects from inception to completion
Previous experience supporting recruiting, hiring, and outreach events nice to have
Experience with Executive Level coaching and facilitation and ability to influence all levels of organization
