About the team:
Liberty Mutual Global Specialty IT (GSIT) collectively delivers innovative solutions and capabilities that leverage our technical expertise and deep business understanding of Global Specialty to enable market-leading performance worldwide. Within GSIT, the Customer Communication Management (CCM) Team is responsible for the delivery of solutions that create, produce and store digital content used to run our businesses, such as Quotes, Policies, Claim Notifications, and Claims forms. This shared services team leverages platforms and technologies such as AWS, Alfresco, SharePoint and Activedocs. The team works closely with our global consumers to drive functionality forward enabling the growth of new Specialty Products.
Work with the Scrum Team to develop products from idea to production by coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and facilitating team delivery on sprint goals. The Scrum Master will work closely with the Product Owner to support Sprint and Release Planning, foster team self-awareness, encourage cross – training, decision-making and continuous improvement.
With your seasoned background, you’ll tackle product issues of great complexity. Armed with a deeper agile perspective acquired through several years of Scrum Master Experience with multiple teams, the Scrum Master II is poised to mentor junior Scrum Masters and evangelize agile practices with a larger community beyond his or her team.
About the job:
Implements consistent process and tools for program management
Aggregates scrum team objectives and progress and publishes to business and all team members to ensure visibility and transparency
Removes impediments through provision of appropriate resources, guidance and escalation
Collaborates with senior product owner and senior architect to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
Facilitates interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture and UX
Ensures adherence to agile practice through program increment planning, retrospectives, etc. for scrum teams
Ensures successful delivery of large impact and/or cross-functional product initiatives
Applies effective SAFe methodologies
Coaches, mentors and provides guidance to scrum masters
Provides input on Scrum Master performance ','!*!Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline and at least five years of IT and project/program management. Minimum of 8 years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Requires ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation. Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff. In-depth knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives.
In-depth knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) with three plus years` experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach.
Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus building skills. Benefits:
