We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager
in the Indianapolis, IN
The Key Account Manager will manage specific customer locations or markets and will report to the Sales Director for a large strategic customer. Responsibilities include: maintain and develop a customer sales plan to achieve sales growth and project execution that supports both company and customer goals; create and build customer and internal relationships to enhance Regal's growth opportunities; provide strategic communication link between Regal and key customer contacts in engineering, marketing, quality, and sourcing; support the Sales Director in completing customer negotiations and agreements; lead customer productivity projects for assigned location(s); conduct regular reviews of growth opportunities/projects and short-term and long-term sales forecasts with the customer and Regal leadership teams; engage and coordinate all internal functions as required to achieve goals; adhere to all company policies, values, procedures and business ethics.
Candidates must possess a BS in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 4 years of technical/OEM sales experience
Ability to build value-based relationships at all levels
Technical understanding of electric motors and controls
Ability to manage product development projects
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong and passionate customer focus
Strong computer and presentation skills
Ability to function in a remote office
Prior experience serving accounts in the residential HVAC market
