Galloway Law Firm, an insurance defense firm with over 100 lawyers in 12 offices across the Gulf South and Midwest, is seeking a Marketing/Business Development Coordinator for the Firm’s Florida, Georgia, and Alabama regions. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the firm’s easternmost offices in all business development and marketing projects and activities related to its strategic business development and marketing efforts.
The Marketing/Business Development Coordinator must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, committed to professional growth, and have exceptional organizational skills, including an ability to prioritize and multi-task. Candidates must have strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills. This position requires a high energy level and requires strong client service skills with an ability to develop relationships within the Firm. Must be available for business travel between all Florida, Georgia, and Alabama offices.
Cultivate and facilitate business development opportunities for firm attorneys with an emphasis on the FL, GA, and AL offices.
Draft and coordinate pitches, RFP responses, and presentations in coordination with firm attorneys and the marketing/business development department.
In coordination with the firm marketing/business development department, plan and execute the production of marketing materials and the logistics of seminars, on-site/off-site events, teleconferences and webinar activities for the FL, GA, and AL offices.
Keep up with industry trends and organize regularly-scheduled client and/or attorney meetings and/or conference calls, as well as initiate follow-up on specific action items.
Develop and maintain mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles for the FL, GA, and AL offices.
Support all firm-wide marketing efforts and initiatives on behalf of the FL, GA, and AL offices.
Collaborate with other office marketing/business development department team members and also work independently on assigned projects.
Perform other marketing and business development tasks as assigned.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and have a minimum of three (3) years of law firm or professional services experience.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced law firm and/or corporate environment.
Excellent writing skills and proofreading skills are required.
Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications.
Strong organizational, team building, and communication skills are key.
The Marketing/Business Development Coordinator position will be resident in Galloway’s Tampa, FL office and regularly travel to the firm’s Pensacola, FL; Atlanta, GA; Mobile, AL; and Fort Lauderdale, FL offices.
