We invest in a diverse range of talent and currently have strategists,earned media specialists, producers, writers, developers, designers, and paidsyndication and analytics experts embedded in offices worldwide.\u00a0 Weber Shandwick's San Francisco office is currently seeking a Manager or Sr. Manager to join its Integrated Media team.\u00a0 Qualified candidates will have 5-8 years of previous experience, a BA or BSdegree in communications or a related discipline, and offer an integratedskill set that combines media relations and digital expertise.\u00a0 Responsibilities:\u00a0 Lead proactive, digital and strategic media outreach and manage the execution ofinnovative client programs\u00a0 Collaborate with senior internal agency staff to develop media strategy andensure client deliverables are being met\u00a0 Develop a strong understanding of the client\u2019s business and target audience,and work with planners and creative team members to deliver solutions that meetprogram objectives\u00a0 Monitor media outlets, understand industry issues that directly and indirectlyaffect the client, and analyze and distill meaningful insights from mediacoverage\u00a0 Generate story ideas and topic angles, draft media materials, and pitch mediato land earned coverage\u00a0 Develop strategic messaging for clients and support creation of media plans andproposals that take an integrated approach to driving awareness with targetaudiences\u00a0 Leverage influencers (e.g. advocates,bloggers\/vloggers and other relatable voices) to impact clients, their brandsand marketing goals.\u00a0 Provide thoughtful recommendations for content creation and distribution acrossmultiple channels to support paid, owned and earned channels\u00a0 Serve as a role model to team members\u00a0 Participation in office-wide initiatives, seminars and meetings to furtherprofessional learning and development\u00a0 Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business\u00a0 Qualifications BasicQualifications\u00a0 BA or BS in communications or related field\u00a0 At least 5-8 years of communications experience\u00a0 AdditionalQualifications\u00a0 Experience supporting large clients and driving innovative, integratedprograms\u00a0 Demonstrated success with media strategy, storydevelopment, and pitching Solid, compelling writing skills\u00a0 Experience working with creative teams\u00a0 Outstanding written and verbal communication skills\u00a0 Familiarity and comfort working with senior-level clients WeberShandwick is a leading global communications and engagement firm in 80 citiesacross 34 countries, with a network extending to 128 cities in 81 countries.The firm\u2019s diverse team of strategists, analysts, producers, designers,developers and campaign activators has won the most prestigious awards in theworld for innovative, creative approaches and impactful work.
