Unit Marketing Coordinator
located in beautiful Northfield, VT
._ Norwich University is a private military university with over 2200 residential students. We are made up of both military and civilian students.
The Marketing Coordinator will work directly with food service unit managers on all internal and external communications and strategic alignment with client organization's internal marketing goals. This marketing position will require some public relations experience, strong communication skills, excellent writing abilities, creativity, ability to assist with growing top line food sales in retail and voluntary meal plan sales, social media skills, website development skills, _innovativeness in regards to out the of box thinking, the ability to communicate and build relationships with students/clients, newspaper, client marketing department and the ability to create articles for publication.

We are looking for candidates who have:
Background and success in implementing marketing into social media and websites.
Ability to increase_ sales volum_e
Strong writing skills
Food retail marketing experience_ preferred
Dynamic communication skills – an ambassador for Sodexo to our clients and our customers,
Effective time management skills – able to prioritize, multi-task_ including_ managing multiple projects and account locations_. Must be a self-starter.
Experience w/customer satisfaction enhancements, - ability to analyze account customer satisfaction surveys and help identify action plans in response.
Ability to partner with General Manager and other managers to develop impactful marketing strategies.
Additional skills/competencies include: diversity awareness, team building/training, building strategic relations, market research, data and financial analysis for return on investments.
Individual will work with on-site teams to ensure company marketing programs and standards are fully implemented throughout, to include station layout, execution and signage (both print and digital).
This position assists in implementing and deploying unit marketing growth and customer satisfaction and retention strategies. Assists with unit marketing plan development, implementation, communication and evaluation. Assist in projects and has an understanding of project management.
Student Engagement: Engaging student body with promotions and programs to increase customer satisfaction and retention
Web/Social Media: Increase Website and Social Media presence through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Must have high energy, flexible, team oriented but work independently, and be a multi-tasker. Attention to detail, great communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Interacts with internal team members, media and public relations
Ensures customers and Sodexo/SodexoMAGIC goals are aligned
Assist in all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
