The Marketing and PR Manager will be responsible for engaging educators across the country and providing opportunities to share their experience and successes with other current and future Lexia customers.
As a key aspect of our Company mission, the Marketing and PR Manager will foster communication with customers via in-person interviews, telephone calls and emails to engage, publicize and celebrate customer success. This person will then be responsible for writing compelling success stories in a variety of formats. Leveraging these success stories, the Marketing and PR Manager will work with our PR agency to gain visibility and secure press coverage via media opportunities.
This position is based in our Concord, MA headquarters location.

ADAPTABLE: You understand the importance of being able to prioritize your work and adapting as initiatives shift.
Identify and engage Customer Champions in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Research and the Implementation Services teams.
Interview Customer Champions and write about their success stories via case studies, customer briefs, newsletters, testimonials
Maintain an active database of Customer Champion details, their success stories, areas of expertise, and types of opportunities in which they are willing to engage (public relations, testimonials, case studies, events, webinars, etc.)
Collaborate with colleagues in the Customer Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Events, Marketing Operations, PR and Content Marketing functions to support and grow initiatives including social media, customer lifecycle marketing, customer rewards programs, customer e-newsletters, PR and a customer online community.
Work with PR firm to identify key customers for bylined articles and editorial opportunities; copy-edit PR assets and distribute published pieces to internal teams.
Your Experience & Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
4 to 6 years experience in a public relations, communications, or community management role
Solid interviewing and story development skills required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Prior experience as a K-12 educator, or with a K-12 publishing or ed-tech company preferred
Experience working in a corporate marketing department preferred
Ability to creatively and proactively brainstorm about how to activate and engage our customer champions
Experience developing scripts for video shoots and podcasts a plus
Detail-oriented and results-driven work ethic
Strong organizational and people skills
Experience using Google applications
