Under the direction of the Executive Assistant, the Intern will support internal communications through contributions to the strategic development, implementation
execution of internal communications initiatives that are directly aligned to our site vision and business objectives.
Intern’s with Ipsen Bioscience Inc. will typically support projects, but also include a human element which requires strong leadership and communication skills. The projects address real business needs, giving you broad exposure to the organization while supporting your academic training.
At Ipsen Bioscience Intern sessions are considered temporary employment, with a predicted ending point. No full-time employment commitments are made; however, depending on satisfactory completion of certain criteria, candidates may be considered for full-time positions upon graduation.
Assist with the execution of the internal communications strategy through content development, planning and measurement of different communications initiatives that help keep employees connected to each other, the company and the patients.
Communication (level/nature): Internal contacts: Daily contact with staff and consultants within the manufacturing facility; some contact with communications colleagues at other Ipsen offices
External contacts: N/A
Candidates seeking an undergraduate degree BS/BA in communications, or other relevant disciplines.
Technical Experience & Additional Required Skills:
Strong creative writing and editing skills
Ability to solve problems and work under minimal supervision
Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must read and write in English and be able to generate and maintain clear and accurate documentation of work performed.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in a relevant discipline.
