Manager, Marketing & Communication
St. Joseph Health is calling a Manager, Marketing and Communication in Irvine, CA.We are seeking a Manager, Marketing and Communication to be responsible for the successful management and implementation of marketing activities in the region. This role manages assigned projects, working collaboratively with other team members, and assists in the execution of marketing and communication plans to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. This role serves as the trusted partner and liaison for assigned service lines or business units as well as the broader marketing and communication team. This includes sitting in on key region or ministry meetings to ensure a constant and trusted presence for the marketing and communication function.In this position you will have the following responsibilities:Serves as the marketing and communication point of contact for assigned programs and services. Responds to and evaluates requests in a timely manner.Synthesizes insights from multiple stakeholders and audiences into initiatives that will drive overall success of assigned projects.Develops and executes marketing and communication plans and adheres to deadlines and budget assignments. Follows department process for approvals and project initiation.Works closely with other members of the marketing and communication team to build marketing and communication plans and execute tactics that will meet business and strategic objectives.Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with cross-functional departments and marketing and communication teams and effectively manages and coordinates the activity of multi-functional teams.Works closely with marketing and communication team and functional partners on the development and creation of marketing and communication tactics in support of marketing strategy and plans. This includes partnering on creative design and messaging and managing materials development and distribution.Required qualifications for this position include:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field Or equivalent educ/experience.3 years progressive experience in communication, marketing, or public relations.Anticipates and takes person responsibility for customer satisfaction.Performs challenging tasks efficiently and effectively. Anticipates problems and takes corrective action prior to completing the task.Sets challenging objectives and works against self-defined standards of excellence to continually improve personal performance.Demonstrated planning and project management skills. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills.Demonstrated management skills and ability to work effectively to build high-quality teams, relationships with colleagues and customers.Proven ability to organize multiple projects, schedules, demand and to meet shifting priorities.Demonstrated ability to study, understand, adapt and respond effectively to a constantly changing environment.Listens with sensitivity and openness.Actively seeks constructive feedback and remains open and receptive.Anticipates the information needs of others.Preferred qualifications for this position include:Experience in healthcare marketing and communication.
