This is a global role in assisting to build and maintain Motorola Solutionsâ€™ digital presence. The Digital Content Manager is responsible for working with a variety of internal and external partners to create, edit and publish best-in-class content for a business-to-business website. The Editor will ensure Motorola Solutionsâ€™ website content is brand-optimized, support online demand generation programs, and develop high-impact and consistent web-based communications in partnership with global, regional and corporate marketing and business leadership.
â€¢ Work with B2B marketers, communications, IT and creative teams to create, manage and refine online communications.
â€¢ Provide web editorial guidance across our businesses and regions.
â€¢ Drive and implement SEO best practices across MSI websites to drive online traffic
â€¢ Ensure editorial standards and guidelines are met across MSI web properties. Be the MSI web brand steward (including collaborating with the Global Brand Marketing team).
â€¢ Responsible for editorial review, direction and daily management of content generated for MSI websites
â€¢ Drive creation and posting of best-in-class content to support worldwide product and solutions launches and other MSI initiatives on our primary website as well as on social media sites.
â€¢ Oversee original content creation (feature stories, industry articles, case studies, customer reference program or blogs) to support thought-leadership initiatives and goals as well as support sales efforts.
â€¢ Analyze online trends and report on site and campaign statistics;.
â€¢ Translate marketing objectives into high-impact web communications that speak clearly and compellingly to consumers in a wide variety of vehicles
â€¢ Manage the editorial processes to optimize and to keep site content fresh
â€¢ Monitor key industry and product news and stay updated on trends
Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Communications or related degree is highly desired. MBA is a plus.
5 years web writing and editing experience. Seeking prior experience in the following area: interactive experience, online journalism or business-to-business marketing, publishing or communications.
Experience in content management or communications role, managing across multiple, diverse countries.
Experience deploying and managing emerging digital applications and content.
Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Working knowledge of online analytics tools, including the ability to perform data mining to analyze online trends and report on site and campaign statistics and performance preferred.
Solid experience and knowledge and content management systems, Adobe Experience Manager experience a plus. Working knowledge of HTML.
