We're looking for you u2013 a brand storyteller to create original content that shows who Georgia-Pacific is and what weu2019re all about to employees and external audience alike. This role is a fit if you think of yourself as a modern-day brand journalist: youu2019re a great writer at heart, but you have equal parts skill and passion for all things digital. Youu2019re highly skilled at drawing your audience in with interesting narratives, but you also have impeccable execution to make it all come together visually and on deadline. Youu2019ll be a great fit if you have a strategic point of view on communications and eye for content performance metrics. A Day In The Life Typically Includes: The Job Create relevant written and visual content that drives forward GPu2019s business and reputation objectives Craft engaging stories and content across multiple channels and audiences u2013 from employees to external viewers u2013 through creative angles and skilled interviewing techniques Develop visual content (still and motion graphics, video) and/or provide clear direction to creative agencies/contractors for content deliverables Lead and manage projects from idea to timely execution, working collaboratively with everyone from the corporate communications Content Team to senior executives and other relevant stakeholders Work creatively to produce content on topics such as: business innovation and safety, to environmental initiatives and good works in the community Work adeptly in content management systems online and other digital creative tools to create highly engaging work Offer a strategic point of view to communications and regularly report and interpret insights on content performance This role is: an integral part of the Content Team, which is focused on building reputation through storytelling and visually engaging content with our audiences. (Team capability includes: social media, public relations, executive communications, HR/employee communications, sustainability communications, sponsorships/marketing) a confident contributor who offers creative points of view that align strategically, and accepts a diversity of thought a strategic collaborator who pushes for new ways to create engaging, relevant and measurable content an owner of ideas who can bring concepts to life with minimal supervision and has an eye for problem-solving a positive and dependable teammate who possesses initiative and is obsessed with attention to detail a strategic and creative partner to the larger Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs function who will work collaboratively with subject matter experts across the company What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: Bacheloru2019s degree or higher journalist At least 5 years of communications or journalism experience Proficient in video and graphics production and/or experience directing creative agencies/freelancers Proficient in online content management systems and HTML What Will Put You Ahead? Preferred Qualifications: Skilled in digital editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Skilled in analytics interpretation such as Google Analytics to measure and report content trends Working knowledge of social media platforms Working knowledge of SEO and UI/UX insights Experience working in a corporate setting or working for corporate clients Want to learn more about Georgia-Pacific?
