Job ID 1098872Date posted 05/15/2018Category Marketing & CommunicationsOrganization Superior HealthPlanSchedule Full-timeDescription:Position Purpose: Manage, develop, implement and sustain community relations programs and initiatives throughout the stateEstablish and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders, advocacy organizations and advisory committees for all health plan populationsCollaborate with the quality improvement and medical management teams to assess systemic needs and develop health improvement initiatives in the communityDevelop, implement and maintain community outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and grow membershipIndependently identify and cultivate relationships with community partners for collaboration on public policy initiativesManage charitable giving program in accordance with health plan prioritiesServe as the primary contact for the health plan at community health fairs, events and meetingsOversee the coordination and delivery of community events and agency presentationsProduce accurate and timely reports, communications and marketing materials for both internal and external purposesAdhere to and promote compliance with federal and state regulations and contractual agreementsQualifications:Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, community relations, social work, business administration, related field or equivalent experience. 6 years of marketing, sales or community relations experience. Previous managed care experience in Medicaid or Medicare preferred. Bilingual is a plus.License/Certification: Current state’s driver’s license. State Driver’s License. Obtain current state’s Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within 6 months of hire. California Health and Wellness Business Development only: License/Certification: State Driver’s License.
