Marketing Manager - Jacksonville, FL
The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Marketing Manager assists with and contributes to the planning and execution of marketing strategies for assigned business areas to support their business objectives and the overall WWP mission. The Marketing Manager is the lead marketing subject matter expert for assigned business areas, providing strategic consultation, partnership, and guidance, and ensures associated communications and content are delivered to achieve business results.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with assigned business area peers and support the Marketing Director to deliver on established plans, across integrated channels, from conceptualization through post-effort analytics.
Work with the Marketing Director to develop marketing plans and deliver planned activities against pre-determined business objectives. Provide expertise across Marketing and assigned business areas to understand and translate the business objectives into marketing objectives.
Gather analytics and insights, e.g. webpage traffic and activity, email, and social media engagement, to influence and inform strategic recommendations for ongoing planning and enhancements of an integrated marketing plans for assigned business areas.
Lead the creative development, production, and execution of marketing plans and communications.
Provide expertise to ensure marketing plans are developed, implemented, and continuously evolving to meet intended business objectives for assigned business areas.
Act as project lead to manage schedules and the progress of creative and activity development.
Proactively coordinate planning and production in partnership with integrated marketing team, business leads, and external partners.
Ensure deliverables are on-plan, on-time, on-budget, managed, and measured.
Manage assigned budgets.
Ensure defined goals are tracked quarterly and achieved.
Assess and direct the execution of marketing activities (electronic and print) in the most cost-efficient and effective manner to maximize return on investment.
Partner with Marketing teammates to find points of collaboration, integration, and efficiency for marketing and communication efforts.
Actively contribute to regular Marketing status meetings, manage project details with team input, or provide relevant updates to the broader team.
Steward the mission, vision, values, and culture of WWP, providing thought leadership to Marketing teammates and WWP teams.
Supervise assigned Marketing efforts to ensure brand consistency. Act as brand steward.
Train, develop, and manage Marketing Specialists and Marketing Coordinators to meet marketing and business objectives, support WWP teams, and achieve full professional potential.

Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Five years’ Marketing or Advertising agency experience.
Five years’ experience in marketing planning, execution, and measurement.
Three years’ direct staff management experience.
Three years’ nonprofit and fundraising experience.
