We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to develop and deliver marketing programs and campaigns to drive demand and engagement in Training and Certification with AWS customers. In this role, you will build, manage, and execute a marketing strategy to drive the adoption of Training and Certification across multiple customer segments. You will define the strategy for how we communicate to our customers about Training and Certification to drive the success of the program across all audiences. You will partner closely with the Training and Certification team to identify the needs and goals of the business, define positioning and messaging to customers, create compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions, and build the right programs to increase awareness and adoption. You will be responsible for promoting and integrating Training and Certification opportunities across AWS Marketing programs and campaigns to reach customers globally. You will design and deliver integrated marketing materials and campaign plans to support program goals and effectively project manage the efforts through multiple marketing channels, including website, online advertising, email, social media, etc. You will work with Training and Certification and AWS marketing teams to develop and manage campaigns to reach, engage, and nurture a wide range of customers and partners globally. This role requires the ability to analyze messaging and campaign effectiveness, modify programs based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. You are passionate about technology and training, and helping articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms that make sense to customers. You also have a track record of success in developing marketing strategies, running email marketing campaigns, and nurture programs, and a strong background in audience targeting and segmentation. The right candidate is extremely data-driven and comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of marketing programs; demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders. Responsibilities · Develop a deep understanding of the Training and Certification business and act as a primary marketing contact between Training and Certification Marketing and central AWS Product Marketing teams, including regular participation in team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions. · Work with Training and Certification and subject matter experts to distill key benefits into marketing messages. · Build relationships with global marketing teams to drive cohesive messaging to support the global business · Define and execute marketing programs designed to raise awareness and brand recognition. · Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (e.g., videos, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, etc.) · Trial and scale creative mechanisms for attracting a wide range of audiences (e.g., students, early career individuals, and mid-high tenure technologists). · Create strategic and measureable campaign plans by working with Training and Certification Marketing and central AWS Marketing teams. · Develop detailed project plans, including goals, messaging, call to action, and distribution channels. · Forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness metrics as well as overall ROI to internal stakeholders. Plus, continually monitor, analyze, and tune campaigns to maximize conversion. · Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for Training and Certification marketing programs and campaigns. \u2022 Work with the central AWS media, email marketing, marketing automation, global campaigns teams to stay up-to-day on all new tools, understand best practices, and leverage the learnings and economies of scale. · Work effectively across AWS with groups such as Training and Certification, Product Marketing, Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Partner, and Evangelists to achieve business goals. · Manage multiple priorities as an independent, self-starter with excellent time management within a rapidly evolving business.
Basic Qualifications· 10 years\u2019 professional experience in marketing and/or digital/high-technology companies/products.· Experience working with industry tools and analytics packages including email, social, web analytics, CRM, business intelligence and marketing automation platforms.· Experience building test and learn plans that continuously improve program engagement and effectiveness, with a focus driving engagement in certification offerings.· Experience working with industry CRM/Marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.) and online analytics packages. · Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, business, technology, communications, or relevant field of study.
Preferred Qualifications· Previous educational or certification marketing experience.· Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content.· A bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, etc.) · Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products. · A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results. · Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment; IT/technology marketing experience preferred. · Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution. · Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables. · Strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives. · Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget. · Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization. · MBA degree.
