What You’ll Do

The Digital Media Supervisor role is a mid-level management position focused on servicing clients in the creation, execution and monitoring of media plans or on negotiating with external vendors to secure the best investment options in a variety of mediums to maximize clients’ reach to targeted consumers.

Implement and manage a flawlessly execute a digital media plan that connects your client to their consumer. You will oversee the progress of all projects, assist your team to make sure deadlines are met, and, of course, make sure the work being produced is stellar.

You will be responsible for learning the client’s business inside and out and staying abreast of industry and competitor information.

You will work with your Associate Director and/or Director and colleagues within your primary practice area and across other practice areas to create, present and execute communication plans for assigned client brands.

You may serve as a key client contact to receive client requests and investigate proposed and alternative solutions to maximize client objectives and to identify and/or resolve any execution issues.

You may monitor plan execution and serve as a first point of contact to raise and resolve any identified issues/discrepancies.

You may generate digital media insights using various data sources and construct strategic POVs.

You may serve as first level coach and supervisor to one or more associates, which includes delegating work, checking work, providing performance feedback and completing performance reviews for your direct reports.

Who You Are

You have a minimum of a Bachelors degree. If your degree is in marketing, advertising, communications, applied mathematics or consumer insights or related field, that’s a plus

You have 3 or more years of related work experience

You have strong quantitative and analytical skills – you can detect and translate a story behind numbers/data

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to translate and present complicated ideas in a simple, and easy to understand yet inspirational /creative style

You have exceptional critical thinking and problem solving abilities – ability to think unconventionally in proposing potential solutions or opportunities to issues

You demonstrate strong detail orientation and organizational skills

You display effective negotiation and influence skills – steeped in required industry, brand, and competitive knowledge

You have proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively and work well under pressure to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines

You display a strong team orientation

Project/process management orientation

You demonstrate a strong learning orientation and lean in to new opportunities and are willing to challenge status quo

You display an intrinsic passion for new technology/digital gadgets; and utilization of social media tools to engage and inspire new solutions for clients

You have proven experience effectively coaching and developing others

You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as other equivalent programs

You are familiar/proficient with various media tools, including MRI, Simmons, MBOX, Nielsen, Kantar, comScore, Clear Decisions, TARDIIS, DFA, IMS, Scarborough, etc.

Entertainment (Studio and/or Home Entertainment) Experience Preferred
