Assistant Marketing ManagerFull-time: Day Shift (occasional evening/wknd when attending an event)Location: Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Marketing Manager works with the marketing team on the development and implementation of service line and program specific marketing plans based on revenue generation, open capacity and market readiness. This person is also accountable for managing hospital specific projects related to but not limited to marketing, business development, and internal communications. This person is also accountable for administrative tasks related to but not limited to scheduling meetings, record keeping and other duties as needed. This person should be perceived by his or her clients and colleagues as a developing authority on marketing for Lankenau Medical Center and Main Line Health. The Assistant Marketing Manager works independently for more than half of his or her work load and uses communication and collaboration to accomplish goals. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABIITIES:
Assists in developing and implementing marketing plans for assigned projects related to but not limited to campaigns, sponsorships and events with internal departments and outside vendors

Assists in assembling and analyzing market data to identify appropriate project objectives

Ensures appropriate communication elements are included in projects (advertising, media, internal and external editorial, web, social media, collateral, direct mail)

Helps to ensure that direction to media/creative/production/event teams is clear so that minimal rounds of concepts and revisions are needed for approvals

Assists in gaining alignment and approvals with clients for all phases of projects

Develops and meets deadlines for projects, and reports progress regularly to ensure project is completed on time

Assists in developing ROI/Measurement and its tracking for projects

Assists in developing regular communications to clients and colleagues on strategy, process and results of projects

Communicates clearly when working with clients, supervisors, coworkers and vendors

Assists in monitoring and managing marketing budget to ensure projects are completed on budget

Assists in developing prioritization of projects

Ensures proper use of Main Line Health graphic standards

Manages Digital Image Library

Represents Main Line Health at events when needed

Builds and manages relationships with key staff in each department at the hospital level and, when appropriate, at the system level, as well as across diverse practices and medical specialties

Able to work flexible hours including evenings, early mornings and weekends as needed

Contributes to developing and achieving departmental goals

Supports the goals of Main Line Health

\u00b7 Participates or attends seminars on campus to promote the expertise of the physicians and the medical center. \u00b7 Promotes Physician Outreach events on campus by visiting MOB practices and interacting with office staff, hand delivering invitations and reminders of physician marketing events. \u00b7 Outreach activity should be at the direction of the LMC Clinical Liaison Primary Customers or Key Working Relationships: Managers, employees, external vendors QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in communications field (marketing, advertising, web communications, public relations, graphic design)Experience: At least three years' experience in a marketing coordinator, specialist or assistant position preferably in a health related fieldSkills and Core Knowledge:
Competent at project management and creative development

Analytical skills including ability to interpret market research and business analytics to inform strategic direction

Good writing and proof reading skills

Excellent verbal skills including ability to articulate ideas persuasively to internal audiences

Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration, entrepreneurial aptitude and results-orientation

Ability to build and manage positive, productive working relationships


Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Basic understanding of the Philadelphia health care marketplace and of building business for a matrixed service organization

Knowledge of various interactive and computer-based media, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools, use of latest computer and communication devices, and social media and online marketing tools
