Communications Analyst, Physical Security
From keeping Googler’s safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resiliency Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop best in class programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
As a Communications Analyst, you truly enjoy writing because you blend passion with the rapidly evolving security and resilience space, helping Googlers understand the importance of situational awareness, physical security, business continuity and, in general, dealing with the unexpected. You are also naturally wired to collaborate and support high performing teams spread out all around the world.

Develop resilience communications, including document templates, reports, emergency messages, notices and business continuity checklists.
Synthesize information from multiple sources to deliver a clear message that encourages Googlers to take action.
Prepare presentations and maintain dashboards, collecting and analyzing data to meet our internal reporting requirements.
Assist with the development of marketing communications and track metric progress in support of the Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) strategic plan and key objectives.
BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Political Science, Journalism or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in communications, marketing or equivalent.
Strong communication, writing and organizational skills.
Keen eye for proofreading
Understands various communications mediums and what’s best for the circumstance
Loves data, including the ability to collect, gather, visualize and analyze information for use in timely reporting metrics
Thrives in deadline mode.
