a community based program for seniors, is seeking a dynamic full time Business Development Director
to be responsible for the implementation of marketing and referral/intake activities and to develop, direct and support all program advertising and communications.
Our ideal candidate will develop, and coordinate the implementation of strategic marketing plans. Will assist with program expansion for multi-site development and provide leadership to support staff. Assists with the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance for PACE program. Participates in the annual budget planning process; works collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary team to develop and implement programs which advance customer service and satisfaction.
Primary role is to establish and maintain community involvement with social service agencies, senior centers, senior housing, medical centers, home care agencies and other providers. Plans, develops and coordinates internal and external communications to include the development and maintenance of collateral materials. The Business Development Director will participate in and contribute to Quality planning endeavors and other forums for organizational strategy and planning purposes.
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, Masters Degree preferred.
Minimum of five years experience in the development and implementation of marketing/public relations or business development preferably in a healthcare environment
Experience working in home or community-based health/social services organization, preferred.
Experience working with older adults, especially those with dementia, desirable.
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid criteria highly desirable.
Public speaking and presentation skills; strong communication skills required
