Weu2019re looking for the very best innovative talent to join our marketing team as the Manager of Event Marketing. Key accountabilities and responsibilities Basic Function: Execute and evolve national event marketing opportunities ensuring that experiential activities drive brand outcomes in a premium, ownable manner and generate profitable demand across the Patru00f3n portfolio. Essential Functions of the Job: 1. Execute & maximize event marketing opportunities: utilize creative brand integration to promote 'Patron Worthy' consumer interactions and coordinate with other marketing stakeholders to deliver measurable results.2. Create and develop experiential strategies to maximize effectiveness of event marketing and increase brand engagement and quality perceptions amongst trade & consumers.3. Sponsorship evaluation & event procurement: evaluate leads and identify compatible brand partners and event marketing opportunities; ensuring authentic integration of marketing initiatives and efficient allocation of investments across all sponsored events.4. Tracking and reporting: weekly activity reports, individual event recaps, event & program KPIs.5. Manage event team resources: update and distribute event calendar, content for newsletters, handbooks, vendor lists, etc.6. Balance budgets on a monthly basis.7. Travel extensively to meetings and events. Measures of success Level Work with minimal supervision, exercising a high degree of discretion and independent judgment. Primary duties include assisting in management of the national events of The Patru00f3n Spirits Company. Critical experiences for success Knowledge: Position requires a bacheloru2019s degree in Marketing / Public Relations or the equivalent and 5 years of experience within the hospitality industry or wholesale alcohol beverage industry; thorough knowledge of sales and quality standards within our industry and in-depth knowledge of how events work, including budgeting, timing and flow. Position also requires knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service within our industry. Skills: 1. Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner, communicating and interacting effectively with executives, employees, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of the organization, in person, via telephone and email or other written correspondence.2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.3. Computer proficiency required in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; ability to use advanced computer functions including navigating the internet.4. Ability to read and write in English with knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar, and to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.5. Ability to develop new and creatively innovative ideas for events and to bring them to fruition.6. Independent and strategic thinking with the ability to see the big picture.7. Proficiency with administrative systems such as file and record management, and form design.8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet aggressive deadlines.9. Possession of exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls (5-6 hours per day); reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. Weight to be lifted or force to be exerted: Amount of time (hours) Up to 25 lbs. Up to 2/3Up to 50 lbs. Up to 1/3 Vision requirements: a. Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) , distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet)b. Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up-down or to the left/right while eyes are fixed on a given point.)c. Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)d. Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) Working Environment: 1. Indoor climate controlled environment.The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles; may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and forklifts in a warehouse environment.2. Noise typical for the work environment:Noise level: Moderate to loud noise (Examples: telephones, fax machines, copy machines, warehouse equipment, conversations and music).
