Our client is one of the most respected brands in the education sector, associated with a global education adapting to the local setting of each country. The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will leverage its global brand and localize it in each geographical market to generate enrollment.
The CMO for supports the expansion of the company education brand and its related business and services in the Americas. This position reports to the CEO. The CMO will be responsible for creating brand awareness and defining the marketing and communication strategy as company enters new regions. The CMO will work with senior leadership to articulate the value of the brand as it relates to its world class education system in its premier schools, as well as, the services and support of consultancy group.
Launch marketing initiatives to support the marketing strategy; manage campaigns that increase brand awareness and deliver results towards enrollment goals and school objectives in different regions.
Work closely with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for specific regions to share with potential investors and partners.
Partner with admission team(s) to align with admission priorities.
Develop brand strategies and identities for different company brands within a consistent strategy for each market.
Lead a team to develop content marketing including managing website content, whitepaper/newsletter development, social presence, and execute against creative campaigns for the schools and consultancy group.
Develop successful marketing strategies using digital/content/email marketing, pricing, advertising, and public relations.
Identify and manage marketing events, such as industry conferences and shows.
Create and manage marketing collateral.
Measure and communicate the impact of marketing efforts.
Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the organization’s strategic vision.
Managing NYC marketing team and having a dotted line to regional marketing teams.
Develop and manage KPI’s for the entire marketing function.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar.
10+ years in leading a marketing group. Experience in education or startup environment a plus.
Strong track record of growth in revenue as results of marketing efforts.
Has built brand recognition and developed partnerships.
Has experience in work in with a luxury brand or service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking, project management, and proactive problem solving abilities.
