PR Vice President Jobs description
The PR vice president manages the overall administration of PR programs for assigned clients, including staff administration, PR planning, financial management, budgeting, professional systems development, staff training and professional development. The PR vice president oversees the administration of PR and associated media departments. The PR vice president also determines and directs the overall positioning strategy of PR plans for clients by meeting with clients to determine their goals and objectives. He manages and supervises ongoing client reporting systems including monthly activity reports, client interaction, and special client contact programs. The PR vice president creates budgets for PR accounts and oversees management of PR accounts including miscellaneous expenditures on behalf of each client. He may also edit and write client press releases, newsletters, press kits and other press materials to generate positive publicity.The PR vice president Job candidate should be:
- Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations preferred
- 7 years agency/client experience in Public Relations desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
