Job Summary

We're seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented social media marketing manager to help grow our Comcast Advertising's Effectv brand. Reporting to the senior director, social media and talent brand marketing, on Comcast Advertising's Brand Marketing team, the person in this role will own and execute social media strategy for Effectv, the B2B advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In addition, this self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit will oversee the production and promotion of market-leading campaigns, help lead and manage our employee social advocacy program, conduct internal social media trainings, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Develop a strong understanding of the business and based on that learning craft a social marketing strategy that attracts clients, partners and peers to the organization through our social media suite of channels.

Curate, write, and edit long form and short form content for social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook). Superior writing/editing/storytelling skills are required. Video production experience would be an asset.

With the mindset of a journalist, collaborate with partners across the business to identify content and campaigns for external distribution and oversee the production of that content.

Ideate and execute strategies to grow reach and engagement across all touchpoints using organic and paid tactics, including the administration of our employee social advocacy program. Experience with Social Chorus, Dynamic Signal, or similar advocacy platform would be a bonus, but not required.

Monitor audience engagement, manage our communities and report on campaign success. Ideal candidates will have experience using content/social management tools commonly used across the industry, especially with Sprinklr.

As a social media expert, consult individuals and teams on social media best practices to support both individual and department goals.

An interest in keeping one step ahead of the pack by being knowledgeable on the latest innovations and advancements in digital marketing: the person in this role will be expected to try new things, take strategic risks, and approach the role with a fresh perspective and positive attitude.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Employees at all levels are expected to:

Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.

Own the customer experience - think and act in ways that put our customers first, give them seamless digital options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services.

Know your stuff - be enthusiastic learners, users and advocates of our game-changing technology, products and services, especially our digital tools and experiences.

Win as a team - make big things happen by working together and being open to new ideas.

Be an active part of the Net Promoter System - a way of working that brings more employee and customer feedback into the company - by joining huddles, making call backs and helping us elevate opportunities to do better for our customers.

Drive results and growth.

Respect and promote inclusion & diversity.

Do what's right for each other, our customers, investors and our communities.
