The Professional 2, Product Marketing plans, develops, and executes promotional campaigns that inform the organization's target market of the merits of purchasing its products and services. The Professional 2, Product Marketing work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Professional 2, Product Marketing campaigns may include trade exhibitions, direct mailing, telemarketing, seminars, store signs, billboards, print, television, film, and radio advertising. Researches, writes, designs, and edits sales collateral that is effective and appropriate for the intended audience. Arranges for material to be economically published and distributed. Collateral may include training and selling aids, telemarketing scripts, advertising copy, brochures, catalogues, display advertising, technical instructions, fact sheets, and information booklets. Organizes and attends seminars, trade shows, industry exhibitions, and other events so that potential customers have an opportunity to learn about the organization and its products and services. Liaises with external vendors and agencies (for example printers, event organizers, graphic designers, advertising agencies, media outlets) to ensure that their work meets the organization's requirements, deadlines, and budget. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or Business
3 years of business, marketing strategy, digital marketing, and media marketing experience
Strong, demonstrated project management skills
Strong, demonstrated skills measuring marketing campaigns and working within budgets
Marketing experience with a demonstrated ability of managing and prioritize a diverse set of projects
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to communicate at all levels of an organization
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications and Business
Experience working in the healthcare industry
