What We’re Looking For:

The Digital Paid Media Manager is responsible for overseeing operations of a team of digital media specialists and coordinators who manage paid media campaigns with a focus on paid social & display. They will be responsible for managing over $20M in media spend across various paid channels (Facebook, GSP, etc.). In addition, this role has ownership of the full life cycle of testing new scalable prospecting driving opportunities and is responsible for driving innovation through new paid media practices.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Media Management:

Manages paid media for a small portfolio of program(s)

Responsible for the execution & analysis for high-profile paid media tests (ex. FB alpha bid modifier)

People Management :

Responsible for 2-6 direct reports (Coordinators, Specialist, Sr. Specialists)

Manages talent performance, staffing & recruiting for Sr. Specialists & below

Responsible for the recruitment life cycle

Strategic Initiatives / Planning:

Continually works on and/or owns cross-functional projects as designated by the leadership (ex. Creative analysis implementation, etc.)

Ownership of the full lifecycle of testing new scalable prospecting driving opportunities & program growth plans (ex. FB alpha bid modifier, scaling a new channel, data science integration, etc.)

Full ownership of a minimum of four large-scale strategic initiatives that has a portfolio wide impact on the business .

Owns MPV media strategy development & vertical - develops the plan through his/her team (ex. post-plan execution)

Partner Management:

Responsible for assisting the Director / Sr. Director with strengthening & growing relationships with ad partners

Partnership & alignment with ad partners - team development, beta opportunities, etc.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

5 years of experience in in-house or agency digital media management

2 years experience managing, mentoring, and/or growing a team of peers and subordinates

Background in direct response / performance based marketing

Extensive knowledge & experience of multiple paid social and display channels such as Facebook, GSP, etc.

Experience in managing a portfolio of media spend exceeding $10M

Extensive working knowledge in marketing/analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and Facebook Power Editor

Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to media

Experience managing, mentoring, and growing a team of peers and subordinates

Bachelor's degree or higher
