Description

Humana's Corporate Communications team is looking for a Senior Corporate Communications Professional to join a growing organization, working remote anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

As this Senior Professional, you will collaborate closely with HR, Well-being, Inclusion & Diversity and other functions across the business to develop creative internal communications strategies and compelling content in support of the Humana culture. Additionally, you will also partner with communicators and other business partners to prioritize communications that have the greatest impact and drive awareness and positive change.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners in Inclusion & Diversity, Well-being, Talent Management, Human Resources and external communications to develop strategic plans, messaging and content designed to build employee engagement and enhance corporate reputation

Work in close collaboration with business partners across the company to showcase Humana's Employee Value Proposition and encourage participation in relevant programs

Develop creative multimedia content and compelling storytelling packages that reinforce Humana's brand, culture and customer-centric approach

Leverage data and analytics to inform and adjust strategy and implementation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related field

5 years of employee communications, change management or public relations experience with proven expertise in developing communications strategies that drive results

Passion for emerging technology and enthusiasm for engaging, interactive communications

Adept at data and analytics

Demonstrated ability to independently plan, lead and implement multimedia comms projects

Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and deliver quality work under pressure

Exceptional written communications skills and deep experience as a content creator

Proactive, flexible and always seeking improvement and positive change

Ability to use discretion and possess exceptional judgement

Foster an open, inclusive and diverse community at Humana

Advanced skills using O365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings

Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required

Travel

Based on current guidance from the CDC, local and state governments, and Humana leadership related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have extended travel restrictions until further notice. The policy will be reassessed as the situation warrants. Once these restrictions are lifted this role may require quarterly travel depending on business needs.
