Shell Polymers is looking for a leader a with proven record of delivery and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Shell is preparing to re-enter the polymers industry through the launch of its polyethylene business, currently the largest project in Shell’s portfolio. Not only will this business have a tremendous impact on the profitability of the overall Shell Chemicals portfolio it also represents a shift deeper down the value chain into performance products.

What's the role -

As the Sr. Brand and Marcomm Manager, you will lead the Shell Polymers brand and marketing communications strategy to enable delivery of the unrivaled customer experience. You will be starting with a great foundation and your work will solidify a strong market entry building upon the already valuable Shell brand. Success will be dependent on the incumbent’s ability to simultaneously manage a significant number of parallel initiatives, stakeholders, and external agencies.

Responsibilities:


Develop a multi-phase marketing communications strategy to meet the needs of the pre-marketing phase, launch and steady state operations
Develop and execute social media strategy enabling reputation growth and for identifying, targeting, and developing potential customers into qualified leads
Strategies should include a multi-channel, dynamic approach to communications to ensure individualized marketing feel in support of experiential CVP and customer experience developments
Design, coordinate, develop content and provide overall project management for communications
Lead interface with Chemicals and ER communications for aligned external communications and stakeholder management
Lead interface with CX for internal comms strategic plan and delivery
Manage external website, digital and printed advertising plan, and execution and delivery of content
Own strategy and implementation for external engagements including tradeshows and customer events including leadership participation, budgeting, and agency relationships
Provide thought leadership and innovation in brand management and partner with customer experience team to ensure positive brand execution


Skills and Requirements

What we need from you -


Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
At least seven (7) years of experience in Brand Management and/or Marketing Communications in B2B environments
Passion, creativity, and an ability to generate new ideas, innovate and obtain stakeholder buy-in
Exceptional communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
Proven ability to think strategically and creatively, while maintaining great attention to detail
Customer insights and data-driven orientation
The ability to develop brand campaigns tied to our Customer Value propositions (CVPs) which drive brand value
The ability to autonomously lead, engage, and partner with cross-functional teams and third-party agencies
Customer insights and data-driven orientation to maximizing customer loyalty
