PR Analyst Jobs description
A PR analyst is responsible for his or her company's industry analyst relations program and developing marketing communications strategies. Those in PR analyst positions assist with preparing media budgets and other marketing activities.The primary duties of PR analysts include market research, collaborating with various industry personnel, and designing corporate strategies. PR analysts educate and inform internal staff about market trends, product features, and communications policies. They are involved in all communications projects, composing press releases, website news, event or product information, and new industry plans. PR analysts gather and present reports on marketing activities, consumer surveys, and inquiries. They also keep track of competitors’ processes and tactics.
PR analyst job candidates with bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees in marketing or mass communications are strongly preferred. Outstanding oral and written communication skills as well as computer proficiency are required. Having strong networking skills and the ability to develop strategic plans is also a prerequisite for a PR analyst job.
