PR Internship Jobs description
The PR intern drafts basic public relations materials including news releases, media alerts, fact sheets, client meeting summaries, status reports and other materials. The PR intern carries out special and media event planning activities and arrangements as outlined by the public relations specialist or counselor. He is responsible for attending client meetings, media training sessions, and presentations. The PR intern assists with the development and updating of media lists and other databases. The PR intern also has to assist with the distribution of client information/materials or the firm’s marketing materials and conduct appropriate follow-up when necessary.The job candidate for the post of the PR intern should at least be a sophomore or collegiate pursuing a PR or media course. He should be quite adept in business communication in English, and writing press releases.
